What's up GQ?

It's Paige Bueckers and these are my essentials.

[upbeat music]

I love my iPad.

I just can't go anywhere without it.

If you see me and you don't see my iPad,

something's probably wrong.

We just have such a special bond,

like I would never do my iPad wrong

and my iPad would never do me wrong.

Honestly, I mostly use it to watch sports.

I feel like there's always like 30 sporting events

going on at once.

I can have the multi-screen view up

or I can have something on my TV, on my phone

and then on my iPad,

but especially on the go, turn my hotspot on

and watch whatever I wanna watch.

Yeah, I love my iPad.

[upbeat music]

These are my two newest camera purchases.

This is the EOS Rebel T7,

and this is the Canon G7 PowerShot Mark II.

I'm getting into photography for fun.

Me and my teammates, we love to get dressed up

and go take outfit pictures.

The first pictures I took on this

was actually my first tennis match that I attended.

Frances Tiafoe was playing at the DC Open

and I got some good pictures on this

and this one we took to New York Fashion Week.

And we actually got some really good pictures on this one,

just hanging out, kicking it.

Teammates borrow it to go take pictures, stuff like that.

This is easier to just travel with

and carry within your pocket.

GQ, if you're looking for a photographer,

you know where to find one.

[upbeat music]

This is my jewelry box.

I have a hard time saying the word jewelry,

but yeah, earrings, rings, bracelets, two watches.

I need to get up on my watch collection.

Me and my teammate, Jana El Alfy, sort of organized it.

This drawer is like bracelets.

This drawer is like silver bracelets and silver jewelry.

My only two watches.

Recently, my stylist Brittany Hampton

just got me this necklace

from David Yurman and I love David Yurman jewelry.

So I do like this, this five chain that I got.

Flea markets probably have the best jewelry,

but I did get a Dior and Gucci ring.

It's an essential for sure.

So it's probably cliche that I bring basketball shoes

with me wherever I go.

But honestly like everywhere I go,

I try to find a gym.

Randomly, if I know people in the area

and they hit me up for runs, I'm always down.

Like I always just want to hoop.

These are just brand new and they look clean,

so I pick these.

But I love Kobe's. I love the Sabrinas.

I like lower tops.

Very excited for the season. I love playing basketball.

I love being out there with my teammates

and my coaching staff.

And we're in the Yukon jersey, so anytime I get to go out

and play basketball, I'm very blessed and fortunate.

This is my portable PlayStation that my mom got me

for my birthday.

I think last year.

I take this everywhere on the road with me.

Me and my teammates have a pretty huge addiction to Fortnite

and we have been playing it pretty heavily this past year.

We never got to play it on the road,

but then I got this and now everybody wants to use it.

I use it on the road, get a good connection to wifi

and we could play a good game of Fortnite.

You don't need the PS5 in the room.

You can be connected through long distance,

but I think you just have to have it in rest mode at home

and not completely turned off.

And then it'll work.

I think that's the hack.

But I don't really, not fan of the Switch.

It's like a whole new game system

and controlling system that I have to learn.

And this, I have this down and I like consistency

and I like being good at things.

So if I'm already good at it,

I would just like to stick to the PlayStation.

[upbeat music]

Everybody that knows me knows I love a good cross-body bag.

These are pretty significant to me

because this is my first ever sort of big purchase

that I ever made.

I went to Louis Vuitton, I didn't know what I was doing,

but I liked the way this looked and so I just got it.

And then this one, lavender-purple is my favorite color

and this is what I wore to the WNBA draft 2024.

Also, they're supporting my teammates, Nika and Aaliyah.

They got drafted and I wore a all-white

or all-creamish Louis Vuitton fit.

And this was like the final matching piece

that sort of set it off what to expect at the 2025 draft.

I sort of kind of have been outdoing myself,

so I don't know what I'm gonna step in at that draft,

but it should be nice.

[upbeat music]

So this is like my travel kit.

These are my glasses that I bring everywhere with me.

I wear contacts, so I need my glasses.

I fit a lot of stuff into this bag. Let's unpack.

I have this, the Cerave hydrating cream to foam cleanser.

I also have the face moisturizer.

Deodorant, of course, don't want to be stinky.

Obviously, extra hair ties. My hair wax stick.

Vaseline, gotta keep the lips fresh. Lotion.

This is my perfume that I wear. Valentino.

It smells very good.

I'm actually gonna put this on right now.

Yeah, that's some good stuff right there.

Starface pimple patches help out with the breakouts,

just looks better when it's a star instead of a pimple, so.

Mouthwash, travel toothbrush, toothpaste,

mascara, razor.

Need to keep my armpits fresh.

Extra pair of contacts just in case I lose one.

Don't sleep in your contacts as well.

I've learned a very hard lesson of that.

Lastly, I have my hairbrush

because I need to brush my hair and make sure it looks good.

A huge part of life is finding a time to nap.

So this eye mask I bring with me

because traveling on the road

or in loud environments, a hotel,

I don't like waking up to light any light at all.

So like waking up on my own terms

with this on is still dark.

Then I could take it off

and be ready for whatever light is to come.

And then especially on the road, time change,

different time zones, getting good sleep

before a game day,

definitely take my melatonin gummies with me.

So just to make sure I'm getting the right amount of sleep,

I take both of these.

Honestly, I try to take 'em like 30 minutes before bed.

Sometimes I'll probably overdose

and just kill it on the gummies just [vocalizing]

right away.

These are my devotional books.

My faith is very important to me.

It's what keeps me grounded, keeps me humble,

just keeps me positive and joyful in life.

So this is the devotional book

that I usually read every night

before I go to bed, just to go to bed

in a state of gratitude and appreciation for life.

And then this is the God X Basketball book I read

before every single game just to remind me why I'm playing,

how grateful I am to play

and just to trust in God's plan no matter what.

So these books are very important to me

and go with me everywhere I go.

[upbeat music]

I think I probably lost around three or four wallets,

so I've sort of given up on the whole wallet idea

and just really carried it on the back of my phone.

But obviously I bring my phone everywhere with me.

And then my Bose QuietComfort earbuds with me.

The noise-canceling effect is really real on these things.

I have like a sort of system set up

to where I start on a game day listening to gospel music,

to gimme a state of peace and gratitude.

And then I probably just warm myself up with some R&B.

And then right before game time,

probably some like hip hop and turn-up music.

Thank you guys for checking out my essentials.

I'll see you next time.
