When I'm playing, I'm not wearing any jewelry.

I don't need anything popping.

Somebody grabbing my neck or something.

Something get lost

'cause you gonna have to take a timeout, ref.

Coach, whoever, like I need my jewelry. [laughs]

[energetic music]

What's up GQ? It's your boy, Lamar Jackson,

AKA Action Jackson.

And this is On the Rocks.

[upbeat music]

Good, get on. Pendants, right now.

My first pendant, I'm gonna show you guys my SG pendant.

My brother gifted me this 2018,

my rookie year in the League.

Gifted me this right here. I was shocked.

People like when they hear me talking about it, you like,

Yeah, you got a necklace coming to you,

and I got it.

I was like, Oh. So yeah, that was hard.

[Interviewer] What is it like to have support like

that from artists?

Oh, it's dope,

especially from a iconic artist at that.

You know, a lot of people look up to him and stuff

and he's a big influence on where we from.

That's a legend right there. So, of course, I love it.

Okay, so my next pendant is my CB Truzz 8 NOYA BOY, pendant.

Shout out to Stax Custom.

He the one who made this for me.

The shield was based on the Raven.

I like that the Raven shield just symbolizes me.

You know, I play football, play for the Ravens.

Man, I'm from Pompano Beach

and we always said,

NOYA BOY, even though I'm a man now,

but it was just inherited, like NOYA Boy.

So, got that on there.

Got CB where I'm from, Cypress.

Truzz, something I always say in my number.

All of that included in this shield.

I feel like this speaks volume of me,

just with everything, the football, where I'm from,

all of that all in one.

My next pendant was In L We Truzz.

I won a Diamond Talk for this one right here,

In L We Truzz, it used to be on dollar bills.

I don't know if it's still on dollar bills

and God we trust and stuff, but I like In L We Truzz,

you know, with the football and stuff.

And I got my prayer hands on here.

You know, I love God and I wouldn't be who I am without Him.

Jesus Christ, you know the Scripture,

Psalm 27 and the LJ8, the whole scripture.

So, a little peace, man.

Ah. [upbeat music]

This necklace, right here,

I got it was a gift from my mom.

Instead of me gifting her, she gifted me, so grateful.

I gifted myself this one, last year.

I got this one this year, this one last year for myself.

Yeah, we known for Cuba in Florida.

And I just wanted to box Cuba, a little heavy.

So I don't, I really don't like wearing it.

This one, too. I just got it on for just in case. [chuckles]

[upbeat music]

Okay, so this one right here,

this goes with the Truzz pendant, right here,

little small, little Cuban necklace.

I didn't want nothing too extravagant, not crazy.

And this, I'm gonna say this probably my favorite one,

'cause it like it can go with anything, you know?

And it's light,

so I can just put it on and just go on about my day.

[energetic music]

I got my watches, I got my watches.

I was gifted by Kodak with these watches in my paddock.

Got my AP band going on.

People don't really have these right here with APs,

you know, so, and it's blue, my favorite color.

So, it was definitely a dope gift.

And this one right here, all gold padded, bust down.

I don't know what he was thinking when he gift me this,

but that's my boy right there.

That's my brother right there. Boy, appreciate it.

[chuckles]

[energetic music]

I definitely have to go get a plain Jane.

Probably just a plain Jane Rolex.

It's been on my bucket list.

It depends on like what type of environment I'm entering

to stack my pieces, you know,

to where all my jewelry sometimes,

but, bro, sometimes it's just too heavy

and I'm like, bro, I just wear one piece

that's presented well or match the attire, what I'm wearing.

I just go from there.

I really don't like wearing them all,

'cause it's heavy, bro.

[upbeat energetic music]

In Florida, we known for gold,

to be honest with you,

we get gold first.

But I was like, I'm older now.

I might as well just skip the gold

and just get my diamonds and that's just what it was.

[upbeat music]

I have princess cut diamonds.

No, this is not 10 and 10.

I got 10 on 12.

Better presentation, that's why I really got 10 on 12.

Well my gold preference, it depends on what I'm doing.

Like, if I'm just wearing gold, I'd rather just yellow gold,

you know, the regular gold.

But like the mouthpiece,

if I'm getting diamonds or something like that,

I'd rather white because they're going to pop more

and I kind of like rose gold

'cause I feel like it'll pop, too.

But white, it fit me better, I'll say.

When did I get my first grill?

It was in high school,

but I didn't really wear them,

'cause I was trying to go to the League,

so I didn't really wear my gold.

[upbeat music]

Bracelets, yeah man, I got a lot of gifts. People love me.

I got this gifted to me.

Stax made this, too, give me a bracelet.

Push down this one here. I don't know.

I just wanted, I liked the way it looked.

We got white gold going.

I was at Diamond Talk for these three right here.

And I was like, Yeah, just get me that.

This one here,

I was at Diamond Talk, as well.

Like, they already had made it and I couldn't fit it.

And I was like, Man, you need to add something to it,

but gimme rose, you know?

And it just added a rose and, voila.

Getting this one here, rose gold,

I don't know, I just felt like the love was needed,

so I got straight hearts.

My mom, she just did this out of nowhere.

I don't know what it was. It wasn't my birthday.

It just like, I got something for you.

I was like, All right. And it was this.

I'm like, I might have did something right.

I get to save my money. [chuckles]

I love being the first child,

like, you know, the oldest. [laughs]
